I just stumbled upon huge looking bullet points in a Google Docs document
In fact, the document, full of lists, did simply look messed up as also other icons were affected.
Luckily I was able to find a very easy solution for this problem:
- download and install the Arial font (I can't link to anything specific, but there are various places and Git repos available)
- restart your browser
- enjoy properly rendered unicode-icons in Google Docs \o/
